Adopt a Highway!

!!!  This event will be moved to next month because of the expected weather today!!!  Look for the email and new event to be posted for the details.

Thanks!

Join other Newcomers at the beautiful entrance to St. Simons to pick up unsightly trash! I’m sure you all drive by it every day like me, so this is a chance to stop and actually pick it up!

Location: Gascoigne Bluff Park. We will start at the park and wind around to Hamilton Street.
Parking: Please turn down Hamilton off Sea Island Road, go past the Villas and turn left at Arthur J. Moore Drive and head past the park and the American Legion and you’ll see me there parked at the dead-end waving and so excited that you came!!!

We will head out right at 5:00 so if you are late just grab a bag and catch up.

Date Start and End Time: September 26th, 5:00pm-6:30pm

Please register so we can depend on you by Sep 24th.

Cost: Free No Limitations

Additional Information: This event is a joint effort with Keep Golden Isles Beautiful as they provide vests for us and grabbers. Please bring gloves and water. Look for the sign with balloons. Our area is the front entrance to the islands and around to Hamilton Street. You can bring a cut off bag from mulch or similar as it is sturdier than new bags.

Thanks for coming to help!! I’ll have snacks!

Thanks in advance for signing up! Any questions text Jean DeRosa 404-784-3304.
