Our October meeting gives us the opportunity to visit with members and learn about the many ways to become involved in our community! Different non-profit organizations, (including the Humane Society, the Coastal Symphony Society, Hospice of the Golden Isles, Live Oaks Garden Club, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center and many more) will have tables set up with information and displays you can visit to become more acquainted with all the volunteer opportunities available in the Golden Isles area. The Brunswick Country Club will provide a beautiful array of heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. What a wonderful opportunity to visit with friends and learn about community involvement!
There will be a charge of $10.00 per person for this meeting and our sign-up deadline is Sunday, October 6th. You can sign-up online at www.IslandNewcomers.org under the EVENTS tab. Online reservations are easiest and preferred, but you may mail a check to Island Newcomers, P.O. Box 24242, Saint Simons Island, Georgia 31522 to arrive on or before October 3rd.

The Brunswick Country Club is located on Route 17, (Darien Highway). At the end of the causeway leaving Saint Simons Island, turn right (North) on Route 17
