We are pleased to present you with the details of this month’s gathering at the lovely Sea Island resort. Our event will be held in the Spanish Lounge, a beautifully restored room in The Cloister. Please plan to join us on Tuesday, January 13th for a fun evening where we will have hors d’oeurves and a cash bar.
If you are interested in spending a little more time at Sea Island, you might want to consider spending the night! You can arrive early, stroll the grounds, visit the beach, have a late dinner in one of the excellent restaurants or even get a spa treatment. When you call to make your reservation, just tell them that you are with Island Newcomers or that our rate code is SSINEW. Our discounted rate will be $250 (plus taxes and fees) for a room at The Cloister for that evening.
There will be a charge of $28.00 per person for this gathering and our sign-up deadline is Thursday, January 8th. Please sign-up EARLY because we will need to provide the gate guard with an accurate and up to date list of all attendees prior to the event. When you come onto the island, follow the signs to The Cloister. Pull up in front of the hotel and a valet will be available to park your car.
