Our next golf outing is Thursday, April 15 at The Hampton Club (King and Prince) course. We have tee times starting at 9:44am Please let me know if you would like to play by April 10.

Croquet with new newcomer friends at the Historic Jekyll Island Club Resort! You don’t want to miss this unique event that has been a favorite past time on the lawn of the resort for years!

- When: Sunday, April 18, 2021, 3:30pm – 5:30pm
- Where: Front lawn of the Jekyll Island Club Resort, Jekyll Island
- Please arrive no later than 3:15, and allow time to park
- Cost: $45 per person – Price includes: Private instructor, mallets, and rental of courts

Afterwards, all are are invited to meet in the hotel lobby for socializing and drinks (drinks are not included). With COVID concerns, you can also purchase your drink and sit on the outside porch and enjoy the beautiful view facing the lawn!

Historic Brunswick Mural Walk & Silver Bluff Brewery – April 21
Brunswick Mural Project was created as an effort to develop a sense of community pride & belonging & to create a healthy, thriving community through art. The idea sprang from the Community of Hope project, led by Glynn Visual Arts to create a community center in Brunswick. Come join us for a fun walk around Brunswick to locate some of these murals. After the outing, we will relax at Silver Bluff Brewery to enjoy a local food truck and some of their tasty drinks!

Lady Jane Sunset Dinner Cruise – April 23
The Lady Jane is a 60 foot steel commercial shipping vessel that has been converted and renovated for your cruising pleasure! She is the only shrimp vessel on the entire east coast that has been certified by the USCG to carry passengers. During our cruise, she will deploy her trawl and the crew will sort and explain the catch. You will likely be very surprised by the variety of life in our waters! The Lady Jane has an air-conditioned cabin, head (restroom to you land-lubbers), and large open decks with ample room to walk around to enjoy the view. Bring your camera!

Tall Ship Lynx Sailing Adventure – April 30
Brought back by popular demand!
Step back in time and hear the extraordinary Maritime History of Young America, told to you in the shadows of St Simons Island, where the Live Oak was cut and shipped from for the building of the USS CONSTITUTION “OLD IRON SIDES” from the deck of the War of 1812 Privateer, Lynx. Lynx is a near interpretation of a Baltimore Clipper launched from the yard of Thomas Kemp in Fells Point, Maryland in 1812. Today’s Lynx serves a platform of history and experiential learning for all who cherish America’s Maritime History. Help set sail, haul the lines, rome the wooden decks as they did over 200 years ago. Lynx’s crew will talk about the guns and fire one of our 6# Carroades. Lynx is a USCG Inspected Vessel. You are welcome to bring your own food and spirits, please arrive one half hour before departure, plan time for the walk to the ship from the parking lot to the right of the main marina parking. Lynx is located on the Main Pilots Dock through the Rack Storage area.

The farm at Oatland North is a non-profit animal rescue farm. The Farm rescues and provides sanctuary for abused, neglected, and abandoned animals. At the Farm, animals learn to trust again and have a chance to thrive and live out their lives in peace, comfort, dignity, and love. Join us for a behind the scenes tour of the Farm and get to know some of the adorable animals, including goats, pigs, horses, donkeys, cats, and chickens.
Learn about how animals come to The Farm while also learning about their many volunteer opportunities.
Food will be provided to anyone interested in feeding the animals during the tour!
