The Island Newcomers Club is open to all new residents of Saint Simons Island and Sea Island, Georgia, of two years or less. Newcomers may be a member of the Club for three years after which they are encouraged to move on to Coasters, or Shorebirds or Sandpipers. The purpose of the Club is to acquaint new residents with people, places and activities in the area. The Club offers many fun filled and informative activities to introduce new residents to each other and the beautiful “Golden Isles” of Georgia, making the Islands a first rate place to live.

The Board of Directors is elected every year by members of the Club. The Board then nominates and elects the various Committee Officers who in turn organize the many trips, activities and events throughout the year.
The Club publishes a Newsletter every month between September and May. It contains useful information on the activities and events scheduled for the upcoming month. The newsletter is made possible by a loyal group of advertisers whose Ads grace its pages and who help allow members to enjoy many of the Club events.
